My primary teaching interests include machine learning, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and special topics within these fields. I am also very interested in courses that apply these fields to other areas such as educational technology, end-user development, clinical informatics and in teaching computational thinking skills to non-computer science majors.
